SongzaAjaxian listed Songza song search service today. I did a search on "Stairway to Heaven." Of course Led Zepplin does it. I listened to it first. Then a Frank Zappa live version in Cleveland in 1988. Also Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck guitar duo of it (very nice). The O'Jays, Rodrigio y Gabriela, Stanley Jordan? Songza will certianly find and play the song you are looking for. It even has "Stairway to Heaven Lyrics backward for those searching for the demon in the machine.

Sort of an unusual name, but nevertheless, Symbabloo is a nice concept. It is a new bookmarking type of site. If you use a set of webtools and they are pretty much defined, this could become your landing page. I haven't made it my home page yet, but it is vying for that honor as a nice webtool launcher.

The Bee Movie

Bee MovieWe took the kids to see theBee Movie this weekend. I just read on the newly redesigned MSNBC site that the Bee Movie cruised into first in the box office over the weekend. It was a very enjoyable kid movie. The lawyer character played by John Goodman was hilarious. Of course the main bee played by Jerry Seinfeld was good. And you could sense the Jerry Seinfeld humor. I liked the cameo appearances of Sting and Larry King.

All in all I would recommend the movie to parents of kids in the pre-school to grade school range. I think as parents, you'll enjoy it too.

Ranger Ed and Kid Digg, part 9

Ruby Shein called Tower Ageis. She had been given the o.k. by the University Board to talk to Ed Grepworth about the continuing security breaches at the school. She introduced herself as a public relations representative for the school. “Mr. Grepworrth, I am representing the Technical University as a Public Relations consultant.” She continued, “I’m of the opinion that the longer we wait to start releasing information, the deeper into controversy we are going to put the University.”
