For a magazine that is known for it's slickness, the Wired website is rather nasty looking. Wired must be a company, that although they represent technology, put their money in print. Must be where the bucks are for them. As of today, December 13, 2007, the site is bad. Perhaps they will take a look at it and build something more web 2.0. It really lacks organization, too. It needs a refresh.

That is rough! What is the call to action? What is the color scheme? It'd be nice if they tied in a look and feel... uh, any old look and feel would be nice at this point.
Their code is really weird looking too. Tons of whitespace.
You'd think a "technology expert" would demonstrate technological expertise!
